Winter Garden · Orange County
Free, licensed help for people in Winter Garden and west Orange County. Tax credit rules changed in 2026. We help you see where you stand, then compare Marketplace and private plans side by side.
What changed
Winter Garden's median household income is $106,495, well above the Orange County figure of $79,719. So the income limit for tax credits may matter for more households here.
The larger tax credits of recent years ended on January 1, 2026. As of October 1, 2026, credits are only for incomes from 100% to 400% of the poverty level. A bill called H.R. 1834 would bring the larger credits back. As of October 1, 2026, H.R. 1834 passed the House but not the Senate and is not law. Your credit depends on income and household size, so check instead of guessing.
It can make sense to compare, but check your tax credit first. Private plans are not Marketplace plans. They follow different rules. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. Our nationwide private PPO page has more.
Networks are set plan by plan. A nearby hospital may be in one plan and not in another. Look up the hospital you would use before you enroll.

How we help
Daniels Health Advisors is an independent brokerage that can walk you through Marketplace plans and private PPO plans, and explain how each one works. We start with your tax credit. Then we line up the choices by doctors, hospital, and total yearly cost. You decide which way to go. Turning 65 or on Medicare? We help with Medicare too.
How it works
Share everyone's ages, your ZIP code in Winter Garden or west Orange County, and how many people are in your household.
Using your estimate of household income for the coverage year, we see whether you may get a credit.
We put Marketplace and private options side by side and check your doctors and hospital. Then you pick.

What you get
If you guess at your tax credit, you could miss help you may qualify for. Or you could take a credit and owe some back at tax time. At the end, you will have:
Each hospital works with some plans and not others. Check the one you would use in each plan's directory.

Straight answers
The limit is based on the federal poverty level, which depends on how many people live in your household. For 2027 coverage, the limit uses the 2026 federal guidelines. So 400% is $86,560 for 2 people, $109,280 for 3, and $132,000 for 4. As of October 1, 2026, under current law, if your household income is above the limit, you get no tax credit. Check HealthCare.gov for the official 2027 numbers.
There is no single answer. It depends on your age, your health, the plan, and whether you get a tax credit. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. We line up both so you can see the numbers for your household.
There were a few in 2026: 14 of Orange County's 208 Marketplace plans were PPOs, and 27 were EPOs. Most of the rest were HMOs. Check each plan's network before you choose.
Each plan has its own hospital network, so it varies. AdventHealth Winter Garden began welcoming patients at The Baby Place, its new labor and delivery unit, on August 24, 2026. If you may need it, look it up in each plan's directory before you enroll.
If you already have a Marketplace plan, you may be able to, depending on your new income. Report the change on HealthCare.gov as soon as it happens, so your credit can be updated. We can help you with the steps.
