Individual & Family Plans

Marketplace (ACA) plans, tax credits, metal levels, and yearly renewals.

Buy your own coverage? A Marketplace plan may fit. Many people get a tax credit. It lowers the monthly cost.

We help you compare plans side by side. You can check whether your doctors are in each plan’s network. You can check your drugs, too.

What should I look at before I pick a plan?
  1. Your monthly premium
  2. Your deductible
  3. Copays and coinsurance
  4. Your out-of-pocket maximum

Next, look up your doctors and hospitals in each plan’s network. Then check if your prescriptions are covered, and what they cost.

Not sure where to start? A licensed agent can walk you through it.

Self-Employed & 1099

Coverage for freelancers, gig workers, contractors, and solo owners.

Do you freelance, drive for an app, or work on contract? Your tax credit is based on your best guess of your net income. That means the income for the year you are covered.

We help you think it through. Then we compare Marketplace plans with private plan options. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. Some may not cover care for health problems you had before you enrolled. You can also look at HSA-eligible plans.

How do I guess my income if it changes every month?

Start with what you earned last year. Then adjust for what you expect in the year you are covered. Subtract business costs to get your net profit. Add any other household income. If your income changes, update your application. For tax questions, ask a tax professional.

Small Group Plans

Group health coverage for business owners and their teams.

A group plan lets a business cover its team. The owner picks the plans and how much to pay. Workers pay the rest.

The rules vary by state and carrier. We help you see what is available and set it up.

How many workers do I need for a group plan?

It depends on your state and the carrier. You need at least one eligible worker who is not the owner or the owner’s spouse. Most also ask the business to pay part of the cost. We can check the rules where you are.

Life Insurance

Term life and permanent life coverage.

Life insurance pays money to the people you name if you pass away. They can use it for bills, debts, a home, or daily costs.

Term life covers you for a set number of years. Permanent life, like whole life, is meant to last your whole life and may build cash value. It costs more than term for the same amount. Cash value grows slowly, and loans or withdrawals lower what your family gets. Prices and approval depend on your age, health, and the amount you choose.

Which is right for me, term or permanent?

It depends on what you want the money to do and for how long. Some people want coverage while kids are young or a home is paid off. Others want coverage that lasts. A licensed agent can explain both so you can decide.

Dental & Vision

Plans for checkups, cleanings, eye exams, and glasses.

Dental plans can help pay for exams, cleanings, fillings, and other care. Vision plans can help pay for eye exams, glasses, and contacts.

What each plan covers, any waiting periods, and the most it pays each year vary by plan. We help you compare.

Can I get dental or vision with my health plan?

Often, yes. You can buy a separate dental or vision plan. Marketplace plans include dental and vision benefits for children, either in the plan or through a separate dental plan. Adult dental and vision are usually separate. Check the plan details before you choose.

More coverage we can help you find

Need something specific? Tell us what matters to you. We will check what is offered where you live. Options vary by state, carrier, and plan.

  • Plans just for kids. Options may include child-only health plans, for a child who needs coverage of their own.
  • Life insurance. We can help with term and permanent life, in states where we are licensed for life insurance. Life coverage depends on approval.
  • Coverage for your medicines. Take a lot of prescriptions? We help you check each plan’s drug list (formulary) and what your drugs may cost. Coverage depends on plan.
  • Guaranteed-issue plans. In some states, there are plans you can get no matter your health. Marketplace plans are also guaranteed issue during open enrollment or a special enrollment period. Other private plans may ask health questions.
  • Dental with no waiting period. Some dental plans cover major care, like crowns or root canals, from day one, with no waiting period. Yearly limits and other rules still apply, so check the plan details.
  • Partial dentures. We help clients look for dental plans that may help pay for partials. Coverage, limits, and waiting periods depend on plan.
  • Maternity coverage. Pregnant already? You may still be able to get coverage. Marketplace plans cover pregnancy and childbirth, even if you were pregnant before you enrolled. You may need open enrollment or a special enrollment period to sign up.
  • Mental health and therapy. Marketplace plans cover mental health care, like therapy and counseling. We help you compare networks, copays, and visit costs. Benefits depend on plan.

Why use an independent agent?

You can shop on your own. But a licensed agent can compare plans from several insurance companies at once. We explain costs, networks, and drug coverage in simple words. Questions after you enroll? Reach out any time. And you do not pay us for our help. We are paid by the insurance companies. Your price for a plan is the same whether you use us or sign up on your own. Commissions can differ by company.

Questions people ask

Often, yes. Options may include a child-only plan, depending on your state and the carrier. We can check what is offered where you live.

Can I get coverage if I am already pregnant?

Yes, in many cases. Marketplace plans cover pregnancy and childbirth, even if you were pregnant before you enrolled. You may need to sign up during open enrollment or a special enrollment period. We can help you compare plans.

Is there dental coverage with no waiting period?

Some dental plans cover major care from day one, with no waiting period. Yearly limits and other rules still apply. Coverage for things like partial dentures depends on the plan, so check the details before you choose.

Do plans cover therapy and mental health care?

Marketplace plans cover mental health care, like therapy and counseling. Costs and networks vary by plan. We help you compare copays and find plans with providers near you.

When can I sign up?

We can help you sign up for a private plan (not from the Marketplace) at any time of year. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. Some may not cover care for health problems you had before you enrolled. Marketplace plans, and other plans that follow ACA rules, work differently. You sign up during open enrollment. As of October 13, 2026, under current law, it runs from November 1, 2026, to January 15, 2027. Pick a plan by December 15 (the deadline under current law) to start on January 1. A court case about these dates is still on appeal, so check HealthCare.gov. At other times, you need a special enrollment period. A move, a new baby, or losing other coverage can open one.

We work with several insurance companies, so you see more than one choice.
