Not in every plan. Each plan picks its own doctors and hospitals. We look up each child's doctor in each plan before you choose.

How we help
Daniels Health Advisors is an independent brokerage, so we are not tied to one insurance company. We pull up the Orange County plans your family can buy. Then we check each person's doctors, the hospital you would use, and the total cost for the year.

Usually, yes. You can apply for your whole household on one application. Children can often stay on a parent's plan until they turn 26. Some children may qualify for Medicaid or Florida KidCare instead, based on household income.
Don't assume it is. Each plan picks its own hospitals and doctors, and most Orange County plans are HMOs. Look up the hospital in each plan's directory before you enroll.
Some. Of Orange County's 208 Marketplace plans for 2026, 14 were PPOs. Another 27 were EPOs and 10 were POS plans. Each type has its own rules for doctors outside the network. If your tax credit is small or zero, a private PPO plan may be another option to look at. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. Some may not cover care for health problems you had before you enrolled.
As of October 9, 2026, under current law, you can sign up from November 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. A court case about these dates is still on appeal, so check HealthCare.gov. To start coverage January 1, pick a plan by December 15. Outside those dates, you usually need a life event, such as a move or losing other coverage. Our Florida open enrollment guide has the details.
