How we help
Daniels Health Advisors is an independent brokerage, so we are not tied to one insurance company. We pull up the St. Lucie County plans you can buy. Then we check your doctors, the hospital you would use, and the total cost for the year.
How it works
Tell us everyone's age and your home ZIP code in Port St. Lucie or St. Lucie County.
We add up the income you expect next year. Count pay, business income, and most money from retirement accounts. That number sets your tax credit.
We look up your doctors, hospital, and medicines in each plan. Then you make the choice.

You may. Moving to a new ZIP code or county can qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period. You usually have 60 days from the move to pick a plan. Some moves have extra rules, so ask us to check your situation.
It depends mostly on your household income for the year you are covered. Apply with your best honest guess. Count any pension and most money you take out of retirement accounts. If your income changes, update your application right away. Then you are less likely to owe money at tax time.
Don't assume it is. Each plan picks its own hospitals and doctors, and most St. Lucie County plans are HMOs. Look up the hospital in each plan's directory before you enroll.
Some. Of St. Lucie County's 115 Marketplace plans for 2026, 14 were PPOs. Another 10 were EPOs and 14 were POS plans. Each type has its own rules for doctors outside the network. If your tax credit is small or zero, a private PPO plan may be another option to look at. Some private plans ask health questions, and approval is not guaranteed. Some may not cover care for health problems you had before you enrolled.
