Questions we hear

Your contract ended.
Your coverage did too.

Reston is a planned community in the Dulles corridor with about 64,400 people. These questions come up a lot.

“My contract ended this month. How fast can I get covered?”

Losing job-based coverage usually lets you pick a plan within 60 days. You can often apply before the coverage ends, so the new plan begins the next day.

“What is Virginia Premium Savings?”

It is a new state program for 2027. Virginia's Insurance Marketplace says it can lower monthly premiums for people who qualify, and that you must enroll to get it.

“Is Virginia on HealthCare.gov?”

No. Virginia has its own marketplace. The website is Marketplace.Virginia.gov. Plans and help are based on your ZIP code.

How we help

Clear choices for
Reston workers.

Contract work near Dulles often ends on a set date. Mark that date, then look at plans a few weeks ahead, so the switch is a choice and not a scramble.

If you commute to an office in another county or across a state line, your plan still follows your home address. Ask each plan how it treats urgent care near your workplace before you pick it.

We are an independent brokerage, so we can show plans from more than one insurer. We figure each plan's cost for the year, test your doctors, and explain what state help may apply.

Contract work around Reston Town Center and the Dulles corridor can start and stop on short notice. One year might include two contracts and a gap in between. We add up what you expect to earn across the whole year, so your estimate reflects the full picture and not just your current rate.
