Questions we hear
Frisco has about 219,300 people, and the median age is about 38. Here is what they ask.
You may. A move to a new area can let you enroll outside open enrollment, usually within 60 days. Some moves have extra rules, such as having coverage before the move, so we check your case.
Start with the hospital and the kinds of doctors you'll need. We look up nearby options in each plan's network before you pick, so you don't choose a plan first and find no doctors later.
Texas uses HealthCare.gov and federal help only. If you moved from a state with its own subsidy, your price in Frisco may be higher. We show the real 2027 numbers for your ZIP code.

How we help
After a move from another state, your old plan usually stops working well here. Bring a list of current prescriptions with doses, so each new plan's drug list can be checked line by line.
Not being tied to one insurer lets us put several plans next to each other. We price out the year, find which networks include the hospitals near you, and help you choose.
Families who move here often still have doctors back in another state. A plan with a low premium can have a small network around Collin County. We work from the places you will actually go, like a pediatric practice near your school or a hospital on the Dallas North Tollway, and test each plan against them.
How it works
Ages for everyone in the house and your Frisco ZIP code.
We check your move date and any coverage you had before.
We match local doctors and hospitals to each plan. You make the pick.

Texas uses HealthCare.gov. As of October 19, 2026, under current law, you can sign up from November 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027. A federal appeal about open enrollment dates is pending (City of Columbus v. Kennedy, 4th Cir. No. 26-1938), with oral argument set for October 30, 2026. Confirm the dates before you enroll. To start coverage January 1, pick a plan by December 15.
It can. Plans and prices are set by county and ZIP code, and Frisco spans Collin and Denton Counties. Your neighbor across a county line may see different choices.
You may be able to buy a plan for the gap. Some job changes and moves allow a special enrollment period. A plan you buy can end when your job coverage begins. We check which choices fit the dates.
Usually not for long. Most individual plans cover people who live in the plan's service area. After a move to Texas, you will likely need a plan sold here. The move itself often opens a 60-day window to switch.
Open enrollment starts November 1
