Questions we hear
About 27 in 100 Carmel workers mostly work from home, per the Census Bureau. Here is what self-employed people ask.
Use an honest estimate of 2027 net self-employment income, after business expenses. If it changes during the year, you can update it.
Losing job coverage usually lets you pick a plan within 60 days. We can also compare the cost of continuing your old plan.
Report the change. Your tax credit can go down, and updating it early can help you avoid owing money back. For tax questions, talk with a tax professional.

How we help
We can line up plans from several Indiana insurers, because we don't represent just one. For each, we add the premium and deductible to show a full-year figure.
When income is uneven, a quarterly look can be easier than estimating the full year at once. We write down what you expect each quarter and add it up together, so the number on your application has a reason behind it.
Home-office workers often keep the same doctors for years. We start from that list and look for plans that include all of them, then compare yearly cost.
A sole proprietor and an LLC owner can report income a bit differently. We work from the number your accountant expects for 2027.
If you travel for clients, we check how each plan handles urgent care away from home, which can matter more than the deductible.
How it works
Ages and your Carmel ZIP code.
Expected net income, season by season.
Choose a plan and know when to report changes.

You can end your marketplace plan when the job plan starts. Report the change so your tax credit stops.
HealthCare.gov sometimes asks for documents. A profit-and-loss statement or tax return often works.
A drop in income alone usually doesn't open a window, but report it so your tax credit updates.
