It's the total the family pays before the plan pays more for everyone. Each person may also have their own smaller deductible.

How we help
We can compare Utah plans from several insurers, since we work with more than one. For a big family, we look past the premium to the family deductible and the out-of-pocket maximum.
Kids' care adds up in small pieces: well visits, urgent care, a broken arm. We estimate a typical year for your family and show the yearly total for each plan for that pattern.
With a new baby or another child coming, a plan's maternity costs matter too. We look at what each plan charges for delivery and newborn care before you choose.
Five or six kids can mean five or six sets of glasses, checkups, and sports physicals. We tally what those cost on each plan, line by line.
A larger household can mean a higher income limit for help. We check where your family falls for 2027.
Some families choose a plan with a higher premium because it caps costs lower. We show both sides of that trade.
