Questions we hear

Thinking about
an HSA?

About 56 in 100 Indianapolis homes are owned by the people who live in them, the Census Bureau says. People asking about HSAs here ask us these.

“Which plans work with an HSA?”

HealthCare.gov says all Bronze and Catastrophic plans work with HSAs. Some other plans may too. It depends on their deductibles and yearly limits.

“Can I pay my monthly premium from the HSA?”

Generally, no. HealthCare.gov says HSA money generally can't pay your monthly bill. It can pay for things like your deductible and copays.

“Do I open the HSA on HealthCare.gov?”

No. You open it with a bank or other firm that offers HSAs. Some insurance companies work with banks to help you set one up.

How we help

HSA help
in Indianapolis.

We use the HSA filter on HealthCare.gov to find Indiana plans that qualify in your ZIP code. Then we set them side by side, with their deductibles and yearly limits.

An HSA plan often has a higher deductible. We help you weigh that against the monthly price, so the trade-off is clear before you choose.

If your job also offers an HSA plan, we look at it too. Your boss may let you add money to the HSA from your paycheck.

Each plan here uses its own doctors and hospitals. We check that the ones you use are in network.

  • Help for people choosing an HSA-eligible plan
  • Licensed in 20 U.S. states · Agent NPN 20986580
  • You do not pay us for our help. We are paid by the insurance companies when you enroll. Your price for a plan is the same whether you use us or sign up on your own. Commissions can differ by company.
